Hi, my name is Jasmine Johnson. I have a vision. This whole idea to have a blog called "Not My Parent's Faith" started when I went to the Rebelution conference in Portland, OR (www.therebelution.com) called "Do Hard Things". I am a young person who loves Jesus like so many other young people in the U.S. I have grown up all my life as a PK. For those of you who don't know what that is... it means that I am a Pastor's Kid. Recently God has placed the idea in my heart to start a blog for teens who want people to know that they choose Jesus not because of their parent's faith, but because they have found life abundantly in Him. We need to be a generation that does not settle for lukewarm faith... haha, I'm already getting ahead of myself. I won't go into that just yet, but we will get there in time.
